Circular Economy

Circular Economy

At Sibline, we embrace circular economy principles by keeping materials and resources in use for as long as possible, reducing waste, and minimizing the consumption of virgin raw materials. Through innovative solutions and strategic partnerships, we transform waste streams into valuable resources, contributing to more sustainable cement production.

Alternative Raw Materials – Construction & Demolition Waste (CDW)

Sibline is exploring the use of sorted Construction and Demolition Waste (CDW) and other alternative raw materials to partially replace virgin natural resources in cement production. By recovering valuable materials from waste streams, we reduce landfill disposal, conserve natural resources, and support a more circular construction sector.

Alternative Fuel – Refuse-Derived Fuel (RDF)

The use of Refuse-Derived Fuel (RDF) enables Sibline to replace part of its conventional fossil fuels with energy recovered from non-recyclable waste. This initiative reduces landfill waste, lowers fossil fuel consumption, and contributes to the decarbonization of cement manufacturing while promoting circular resource use.

LEGO Blocks

Sibline is developing interlocking concrete (LEGO) blocks as a reusable construction solution. Their modular design allows structures to be assembled, dismantled, and reused without significant waste, reducing material consumption, construction time, and demolition waste while extending the life cycle of construction materials.
